TANKFEST – The Official DVD

The world’s biggest display of armour in action has been captured on DVD by Wideangle Films; the team that produced `Saving The Tiger – The Story of Tiger 131`.

This unique 55 minute documentary takes you behind the scenes to meet drivers and crew as they prepared for Tankfest 2008 – the biggest and best Tankfest event to date.

The DVD shows a variety of historic and modern armoured vehicles taking part in arena displays during the event, and is complimented by expert commentary detailing the history and context of the vehicles.

Special features include new widescreen footage of the only Tiger 1 still running in the world; the Panzer III; the inter-war Vickers Medium and the Swedish Stridsvagn M40. The Tank Museum’s own unique collections are supported by modern British Army vehicles and several vehicles from other collections.
