Become a Tank Museum Volunteer

Can you spare a few hours to help out at The Tank Museum?

We currently have over 40 people who volunteer at the museum carrying out a variety of different tasks.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer please fill in the application form here, and follow the instructions for returning it to The Tank Museum.

Volunteers Please Note:

Whilst The Tank Museum is grateful for any volunteers, we are specifically looking for those who can regularly give up their time for a particular job.

There is currently a two year waiting list for volunteering in The Tank Museum Workshops, although applications may be accepted from those who have exceptional qualifications and experience in mechanical engineering and restoration.

The Archive and Reference Library are currently seeking people who can transcribe documents (war diaries, interviews, etc) to computer. This is ideal for anyone who would like to help but lives too far away from The Museum to assist on location.

Please bear these factors in mind when applying to volunteer at The Tank Musuem.

Please note: The Volunteer Application form is a pdf and requires Adobe Acrobat Reader which you can get free from the Adobe website, click here.
