Tank Experience Day

The Ultimate Tank Museum Experience

The best way to get hands on and dig deeper in to our unique Collections, ideal for enthusiasts, as a work or group outing or as a gift for someone special.

Our unique Tank Experience Day is composed of
three parts:

Drive!
We take you to the neighbouring MOD training area, where you will learn to drive one of the Museum's 432 armoured vehicles. On a two mile cross country circuit available only to The Tank Museum and the Army, you will pass through woodland, over fields and through streams.

Ride!
Climbing into the commander's seat of a Main Battle Tank, you will get an idea of how it feels to take charge of a 30 tonne war machine. As you thunder around our bumpy tank arena, climb over the knife edge and plough through the mud, you will be left in no doubt as to the awesome strength and devastating power of tanks.

Explore!
After a hot meal, you will be led around the Museum by one of our tank experts, who will assist in bringing the collection to life - and offer you a rare opportunity to climb inside a selection of equally rare historic vehicles.

Prices:

£295 per participant.
Includes breakfast, refreshments, a military themed lunch and a goodie bag to take away.
