Cold War on the Inner German Border

Using the Tank Museum’s superb collection of post-war arms and armour, students look at the role of the British Army of the Rhine in the war that never was. Themes covered include the contrast between Warsaw Pact and NATO equipment, Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Warfare, tank tactics and the life of a tank crewman. Students may also be able to interview a Cold War veteran, depending on availability.
