About the Friends of The Tank Museum

The Friends of The Tank Museum exists to help and support The Tank Museum.

Members can help the Museum by volunteering their time and sharing their skills and knowledge which ultimately help to enrich the visitor experience. Through individual member’s annual subscriptions, The Friends are also helping to ensure future of The Tank Museum.

Volunteers are needed to help restore vehicles and artefacts, but there are many other ways a Friend can serve the Museum; by acting as a warden or by helping the Museum promote itself at shows and special events. The Archive and Library also welcomes volunteers for a variety of tasks.

Adult Yearly (Overseas) Membership £30
Life Membership £250
Life (Overseas) Membership £300

Please don’t forget to Gift Aid your payment if you are a UK tax payer. As a charity, The Friends of The Tank Museum can reclaim 28p from every £1 paid to it if Gift Aid declarations are signed.
